Diana Ferrara, Ph.D.
Curator
Dr. Diana Ferrara serves as the Curator of the Tortora Brayda di Belvedere Historical Fund. She began her career at the National Archives in Capua, where she was entrusted with interpreting and classifying ancient collections of state documentation. Her academic focus has since evolved into a distinguished career as a historian, specializing in the legislative and institutional frameworks of the Kingdom of Naples.
An accomplished Latinist, Dr. Ferrara possesses rare expertise in deciphering Latin texts within the nuanced context of medieval and Renaissance Europe. Her work brings clarity to obscure and fragmented documents, many of which had long remained unreadable. She is currently developing a comprehensive catalogue of abstracts to assist scholars, genealogists, and family members in navigating the Fund's vast archival holdings.
